Heat Pump Servicing & Maintenance
Professional servicing, diagnostics, and repairs for heat pumps from all major manufacturers. Keep your system efficient, reliable, and running smoothly all year round.
Exhaust Air Heat Pumps
An Exhaust Air Heat Pump is a compact, all-in-one solution ideal for smaller new-build homes and apartments, with no outdoor unit required. Installed as a fridge-style unit indoors, it extracts warm, stale air from wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens, reuses that energy to provide heating for radiators or underfloor heating, and supplies hot water for taps and showers, while also acting as the home’s extract ventilation system to meet Part F building regulations delivering heating, hot water, and ventilation from one system.
Geothermal Heat Pumps
Geothermal heat pumps are one of the most efficient heating systems available, with efficiency levels of up to 500%. They work using an indoor heat pump unit connected to pipes filled with a liquid called brine, which run deep underground into a borehole (around 150 metres). This liquid absorbs natural heat from the earth and carries it back to the heat pump, which then uses that energy to heat your home and provide hot water. Because the ground temperature stays stable all year round, geothermal systems perform well even in very cold weather and do not require an outdoor unit. The main disadvantage is the higher upfront installation cost.

FAQs
Common Questions About Heat Pump Maintenance
A regular service is recommended at least once a year to ensure optimal performance. This helps maintain efficiency and prolongs the lifespan of your unit.
If you notice unusual noises, inconsistent temperatures, or a rise in energy bills, these may indicate a problem. It’s best to have these checked by a professional.
While it is possible, we recommend having it installed by a qualified technician to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal performance.
Typically, a well-maintained heat pump can last 15 to 20 years, depending on usage and conditions. Regular servicing can help maximize its lifespan.
Yes, heat pumps are generally more energy efficient than traditional heating methods. They transfer heat rather than generate it, which can result in significant energy savings.
Consider your home’s size, insulation, and your heating needs. Consult with a professional who can assess your situation and recommend the best option for you.
